How To Adjust Kia Car Clock

Have you ever wondered how to adjust the clock in your car? You're not alone. Many Kia owners have asked us how to change the time on their infotainment system. Luckily, it's easier than you might think! Here are step-by-step instructions for adjusting both automatic and manual clocks in different models of Kia cars. The good news is that adjusting the Kia car clock is not very hard and can be done by anyone.

  • To adjust the time on your car clock, you need to make sure that your car is in accessory mode. In order to do this, turn on the ignition and wait for the clock to appear. Take note of where it says "Accessory Mode" on your display screen; this will be used later in this article. Now press and hold down any button until you see "Main Menu" appear in the middle of your display screen. If it does not appear immediately after pressing a button, keep holding down the button until it does appear (it may take up to 10 seconds). Then let go of that specific button when "Main Menu" appears onscreen.
  • Once inside Main Menu, use either direction on your wheel or arrows from left-to-right along the bottom row as well as up and down along the top row until you reach "Customer Settings." If you don't know where this is, look for it in the middle of the dashboard or on the right side of your steering wheel. The number of buttons below the screen also varies by car; some have three, while others have six or seven. You can usually tell which one is your clock adjustment button because it'll be right next to the volume knob and navigation controls (if your vehicle has one).
  • Press Enter/OK once more so that now two options show under Customer Settings: Clock Adjustment (which should be highlighted) and Date Adjustment (which should not). Press Enter/OK again so that only Clock Adjustment remains highlighted under Customer Settings; then use either direction along the bottom row as well as up-and-down along the top row until you reach the Time Format option; press Enter/OK one more time, so Time Format becomes highlighted under Clock Adjustment section.
  • After adjusting your car clock, you can move on to adjusting the minutes. First, use the control button at your steering wheel to move down and select Set Hour. Now that you are on this new screen, use the same steps as before: press the control button to move up or down, press left or right arrows on either side of it, and press the "+" or "-" buttons below it.
  • Once set minutes are finished, hit Cancel any time if things get too confusing!

Conclusion

A clock in your car can be very useful for keeping track of time!

If you're the kind of person who has to be somewhere at a certain time, it's always helpful to know what time it is when you leave. If something goes wrong and you're running late, this can be especially helpful; if your phone dies or gets lost, there's no way for anyone else to contact you. So having a clock in your car is an extremely practical thing.

With this tutorial, you should be able to adjust your Kia car clock in no time. As always, if you have any questions about the process or feel like something needs to be fixed, contact us at our 24/7 customer support center.
